Just read this article and #2 made me go whoa! lol Tell me what you think...

2. Lifting Too Much at the Gym

No, you shouldn’t stop exercising. But overworking large muscles, such as the triceps, quads and biceps, can cause sagging in the long run, says celebrity fitness instructor Tracy Anderson.

“As connective tissues loosen with age, an overworked aging muscle produces an undesirable skin tone,” she explains.

Focus on accessory muscles around the larger thigh and belly muscles, which can give you a more balanced look. For each group of muscles, use weights under three pounds each and do more reps, Anderson adds.

Don't take lifting advice from Woman's Day magazine.

They probably also say "You don't want to lift heavy, that will intimidate men and make them less likely to marry you."

Tosca Reno: 53 year old heavy lifter, I don't see any sagging.

Well...to be fair, there are quite a few guys out there that feel this way (both of my serious ex's fall into this category)...but any guy that feels this way is insecure and needs to grow a pair. I only care to date (and eventually marry) a man who finds women who lift to be hot and not intimidating.

Eww...I was home sick this week and flipping through all the infomercials. One caught my attention and I guess it was heres. The moves that she was showcasing on the gym to sell her "metomorphasis" program looked ridiculous! Like seriously, I wondered about her credibilty then, but now I really have to wonder!

According to a mediocre freelance writer who specializes in business, using a "celebrity" trainer with an agenda to sell her own *kitten* as the only source (whom, I might add, appears to use plastic surgery and too much makeup to prevent aging). Yeah, not buying into this.

She also feels that women should NEVER lift anything heavier than three lbs.
