Looking for different ways to prepare tilapia

I take the fresh or thawed tilapia and place into shallow baking dish with PAM (so it doesn't stick). Then salt both sides and I love to add Lowry's seasoned pepper. It's great and no fat or carbs, just straight protiein.0

Spray fish lightly with PAM on both sides (or use an olive oil diffuser if you're not a PAM fan).
On a pie plate, mix 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup of Italian style bread crumbs.
Dredge fish through cheese mixture.
Salt and pepper to taste if desired.
Broil for a few minutes each side.
My husband hates "diet" food but loves this. I serve it with a big helping of steamed or mashed cauliflower and jasmine rice.0 -

We make foil packs with ours. Dice up some onion, bell pepper, mushrooms. add a little chipolte chilies and wrap up. Bakes in just a few minutes. Of course we change the recipe everytime we do it based on what I have at home. We have added all kids of veggies to it.0

I marinate them in lemon juice, sprinkle any dry seasoning on them (most are 0 calorie) then bake at 425 for 15 minutes with the lemon juice in the bottom of the pan.0

Quick and simple. I spray the glass baking dish with PAM, then sprinkle the fish with Old Bay Seasoning. Add two lemon slices on top of the fish, cover with foil and bake for 425 for about 15 minutes.
Another I like is to rub the fish with a mixture of chili powder, garlic powder, and lime juice, then bake at same temp for same amount of time.0 -

Heat frying pan on medium-high heat.
Add a little olive oil to coat the bottom.
Add the tilapia, and sear one side. (Less than 1 min)
Turn the tilapia over, top lightly with garlic-herb seasoned bread crumbs. Add 3 TBSP lemon juice. Cover.
Reduce heat and cook for 2 minutes.
Nom, Nom.
For some variations:
Add some fresh rosemary.
Serve with a garnish of diced heirloom tomatoes.0 -
I spray a bit of Pam Olive Oil on each side, squeeze fresh lemon juice and some lemon pepper then bake......yum!!0

We make this all the time - I actually just ate it last night! It has directions to make your own roasted garlic, but I am lazy and just buy a jar of it at the grocery store. I serve it with couscous and green beans, and even my 3 year old loves it!

Brown butter and a balsamic vinegar reduction
Pan fried in taco type spices (cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, garlic salt, a little cinnamon, chile powder), chopped and put into a taco or on a tostada0 -
my husband lets it marinate in lemon juice all day then sprinkles lemon pepper on both sides of it and puts it on the grill. that's it0

This might sound weird, but it is really good...It is called Ceviche...
You take your tilapia and chop it up real good, place in enough lime juice to cover... Put it in the fridge for about 6 hours or until it turns white... Drain it, and add chopped tomato, onion, cilantro, jalapeno peppers, and avocado... Serve on tostadas and if you want more heat you can add salsa on top...0 -
I love to use blacken seasoning on them and fry them out side on a gas grill or coleman stove,useing a iron skillet with a little butter, because it smells up the house pretty bad. but well worth the taste, delish0
