Is it true that my muscles will get shorter and I'll get bulky when I start building them back if I don't lift a certain way?

The article was explaining how your muscles work when moving and/or lifting.0

No.0 -
I didn't read the article, but as a physical therapist I can tell you that the length of your muscles may be affected if you don't work through your full range of motion of a muscle and if you don't stretch.0

How can this change the length of the muscle? Wouldn't the insertion point/origin have to change if the muscle length changes?0 -

Your bones get longer0 -
ohhhh....silly.... not you, the responses. No need to change the length of the muscle.... you know that. You can work certain ones more than others.0

Your muscles will only get shorter if 1) your bones get shorter or 2) you become injured for some crazy reason and they become unattached.0

The length of your muscles will not change.
Edited: I think I see where you are getting the idea from. Muscle length does not change, but you need to make sure you do not have muscle imbalance, so you work the 'other side'. For example, if you works biceps, you also need to work triceps.0 -

Yeah so all you have to do is have surgery to detach them there and reattach at new points!0
