Not quite new, but new enough

Hey Everyone!
I was apart of the MFP site a few years back, and i had some great results by tracking my food and exercise, but a few things happened in my life, and i fell off the bandwagon. Last year around this time I came back on, and didn't even last a week. I just couldn't find motivation!
I'm in it to win it this time. I'm honestly so sick of not feeling healthy. I'm getting a lot of symptoms lately that have just been making me realize that my body isn't liking what i'm doing to it.
I'm a somewhat active person. I play soccer for a women's league in my city and I love it. We only play once a week, which is not enough! I'm starting to feel like the weakest link on the team, so time to strap up and work some of this weight off!
If anyone can give me any recommendations for workouts or recipes that'd be awesome. I love sports and the feeling of working out, but i hate just running on a treadmill, so if anyone has any ideas let me know!
I also love to cook, and i think that's one of my downfalls. I just love food! So if anyone has some awesome recipes or links let me know!
Add me as a friend! I love encouragement and I love encouraging others!
Nice to meet/or re-meet you all!

    Hi there!
I rejoined too...similar story! But activity (sports) have helped me to lose weight and keep me from binging!
Let me know if I can help! I am not much of a cook, but do love easy, low fat recipes. If I find any good ones I will gladly share!
    Good luck!

Nice to have you back, Lets Do This! if you wanna add me.
  • Hello,
I have never been apart of MFP. I decided to start tracking my calories on my own today ran across the site and have fell in love with it. I currently have a weight loss goal of about 30 lbs. For those who don't really like to go to the gym and walk on treadmills, you should try Just Dance 4. They have a Just Sweat feature on the game and it shows how many calories you are burning while you are having fun dancing. It also really helps if you have a partner to dance with. I am very competitive so dancing with someone just makes me want to dance/exercise as hard as possible to beat the person I am dancing with. I also love to cook and will be trying different recipes to aid in my weight loss. If you would like to keep up with my progress from just dance or try some of the recipes that I will be trying you should add me. I will be updating my blog at least weekly, but I am going to try at least a few days out the week.
