Here I go!

I've never been the skinny girl. Never. I have, for the entirety of my life, always been bigger than nearly all of my peers. At the end of my senior year, I was pushing 200lbs. I'm 5'4". This year is my 10 year reunion. I'm now 263 lbs!! Yikes!

How did I let this happen? Ah, that's right, it's my love of food, my office job and the fact that for the last almost five years I've been tethered to my couch and laptop completing both my undergrad and Masters degree.

That goal is coming to a close and my hubby and I are celebrating graduation and our 6th wedding anniversary in Mexico. We do this every year, so it's not like I'm trying to get "vacation ready".

It's time for a change. My knees crack and grind and I have plantar fasciitis. I've got to do something to fix this mess I've gotten myself in.....

Tonight I begin day #1 of DDP Yoga.

I've got a long way to go, but I'll get there!!

    Congrats for deciding on that change. Feel free to add me for any additional support :) I just started on Jan. 1 and I'm still trying to get the hang of this.
  • no excuses now , your motivated and u know what u want. go for it . if u need any tips im here . ive lost 20 plus lbs in the last 35 days. with good foods and a gym u can do it as well.. good luck
