I havent been eating close to 1200 calories around 600-800 wit exercise and today Ive gotten light headed eveytime I stand up and mild headaches but the problem is my stomach has shrunk (I'm guessing) cause my appetite is gone I don't wanna force myself to eat when I'm not hungry so any suggestions

Trust me, your stomach will adjust itself. You need to be eating more.

Eat more calorie dense foods; nuts, avocado, cooking foods in EVOO, protein bars, adding cheese to meals or go to town on a peanut butter jar. With as little weight as you have to lose, you shouldn't be aiming for more than 1/2 lb per week.. maybe 1 lb if you are lucky.
  • Thanks for the advice! I been trying to eat calorie condensed food and it helped

try a shake in the morning with banana and ground flax seed added to it - maybe even some coconut oil.

When I switched my diet I got light headed after the 6th day- it was b/c I wasn't getting enough calories or fat in my diet. & like Psulemon said, aim for slower loss and focus on lifestyle changes! I wish I only had that to lose :P

If you are only eating 1200 calories a day, and then burning 600-800 calories on top of that, it is no wonder you are feeling light-headed. You are slowly starving yourself!

Go to the apps section, and click on the BMR calculator. That will tell you approximately how many calories your body needs each day just to keep your basic biological functions working (things like heartbeat, breathing, digesting, etc.). You should never eat consistently under that number.

But what if that means that you won't be able to aim to lose as much per week? That just means you are trying to lose weight too quickly.
