Hello everyone

I Guess I may as well be social with this instead of just using the app on the iPod. So I have decided to lose weight because in all of my life I have only been at a healthy bmi once. And that was when I was training for my second black belt. I felt the best during that summer. Since then I became sedentary, didn't pay attention to what I ate, and ended up gaining weight.

What I really want to do someday is to teach self defense classes, and I want to start looking and feeling the part right now. My goal is to get down to about 154 to start with, which will put me at the upper end of the healthy zone, even accounting for the 5 pounds which sometimes vary with my body. After I hit that goal I will re-evaluate if I want/need to lose a bit more.
