Can water weight make you gain inches?

I was wondering it water weight/retention can make you look like you gained fat and actually make you gain inches in some areas of your body?

I hope that's what happened with me. I tend to hold onto water easily. no change in waist, but one inch to my hips. and I look bigger, too. Let's hope it goes away today or tomorrow.0 -
