Frustrated!

Hi Friends,
I have been really frustrated lately with my weight loss. In the past, it's been relatively easy for me to lose weight when I eat around 1200-1300 calories. But this time around, I am not seeing ANY weight loss. I have been eating under my calories every day, and also doing some yoga.
Is it because I'm not doing enough lifting/cardio?
Please help, I'm getting REALLY down on myself. I feel like I look thinner (in my tummy and face) but apparently it's not translating to weight loss.

I wonder if it's because you're not eating enough. 1200 is the bare minimum intake recommended for women, so eating below that isn't a great idea, and for a lot of people slows or stop weight loss. Food is fuel, eat too little and you're giving your body a reason to store fat rather than burn it.
I eat between my BMR and my TDEE, and found my numbers with the help of this topic: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12
Great info there, and it's working wonderfully for me and heaps of other MFPers. I'm enjoying 1800+ calories a day, losing fat and inches and have dropped a pants size since upping my cals. Check it out the thread and run your numbers through the tools linked there - might be just what you need.0 -

How long have you been consistent?0

I do yoga also... and didn't feel like I was burning enough calories out of it. So then I started doing Jillian Michaels yoga meltdown. It is more of a yoga with movement so it adds the cardio. Then I enjoyed Jillian's videos so much that I started doing the 6 week 6 pack... and that is kicking my butt! But I am enjoying it. So maybe try switching things up. And I am doing the 1200 calorie intake but I am short and short people don't need as many calories. So that depends. Just don't give up. Keep working at it. If you want to add me for motivation then please do!0

I've been consistent for about 2.5 weeks now.0 -
What is your starting weight and goal weight?
I also am losing extremely slowly and in fact have lost nothing in the 2-1'/2 weeks since my initial water weight loss. I'm doing my best but I don't have as much to lose so I think it's just going to be slow for me.0 -

SO you're closer to your goal weight than I am, but we're still in the "not that much to lose" category. From doing some searching on here, I'd bet anything that people will tell us to eat more (do some searching on "eat more to lose more"). I'm comfortable where I'm eating right now, because I am recovering from an injury and still am not cleared for much exercise, but I'll revsisit that when I get moving again (hopefully this weekend).
ETA: I just sent you a friend request. I really hate feeling so dorky about doing that, but accept or not as you want.0
