When will my metabolism speed up?

Options
I just started recovery today, upping my caloric intake to more than 1,200. I've been eating about 800 for about two weeks, and my metabolism has pretty much stopped hahah. I'm eating a lot of metabolism boosting foods, such as almonds, blueberries, fish, whole grains, etc. About how long will it take for my metabolism to start working normally again?
And how long will it take for my body to lose the excess weight that I gain from not purging or restricting anymore?
If you recovered, how long did it take for your body to start working normally again?

1200 is still pretty low, depending on your size. I read an article that said eating at or below your BMR will also slow down your metabolism.
I've just switched to determining my caloric needs by taking my TDEE and subtracting 20%. I can't say yet if it's working but I know many people on MFP use this method so I have no reason to think it won't work.

My metabolism ramped up within two weeks. I admit that I take in a lot more calories then 1200 - I average about 1500. I eat about every 2 hours; 1 to 2 cups of food. I don't have real meals, but I lump them together in my diary that way.
