Fat & Protein

Options
So I have been tracking my food and I always eat more carbs than fat and protein. I know part of the issue is re-wiring my brain to think fat is not all that bad, if eaten in moderation. Any tips on how to add more protein and healthy fats to daily meals without eating meat?

Edamame is a delicious snack - good protein/fiber combo.

I eat avocados almost every day and also snack on almonds most of the time. Greek yogurt is also another good protein along with hummus.

Almonds, walnuts, peanut or almond butter. Nuts and nut butters are high in calories, so don't over do them. But they really help keeping you full and have healthy fat.

my snacks consist of boneless/skinless chicken breast and slices of turkey breast throughout the day. can't advise on healthy fats. to reduce carbs, try eating sandwiches without the bread or wraps.
