Here I go again

Ok, so I am a yoyo dieter. several years ago I lost over 40 pounds thru watching what I ate and lots of exercise. Thank goodness I haven't gained it all back but I definitely am not what I used to be. I know that most diet plans tell you to write down everything you eat but this is the first time I am actually doing it and becoming responsible for everything that's goes in my mouth. besides the cut back on the food and the choices I make, I think the hardest thing is going to be getting back into some type of exercise routine.

I hear you. The changes I have made in my diet has not been as hard as the commitment to exercise. It does not come easy to me but I am trying to make the effort every time I need to do it. I really want and need to lose weight. Good luck to you and me both.

I also agree. I feel like I have to make myself get out there. I'm not really quite "there" where I WANT to get out there and do it. It's a struggle, but I make myself.

I am ok with watching what I eat and counting calories. I stink at getting motivated to work out. I am hoping with the support from friends and family to hold me accountable I will stick with it.
  • I know it sucks sometimes to get out there and do it! I find that it's easier if I have people that i make plans with to work out. Then you have an obligation to keep plans with someone at least. It makes it easier to have a buddy there with you.
  • Thank you! I look to you and others for inspiration - still haven't gotten off the couch:)
