Hey! I'm a 35 year old married mom of 2. I'm 5'7" and 245 lbs..would like to be 160ish! I have a heart arithmia, high cholesterol and sleep apnea. You would think losing the weight for health reasons would be easy right? Wrong! I struggle daily with food choices. Would like some positive, supportive people to be friends with!

What kind of heart arrthymia do you have? I have SVT. I do workouts and walking that are comfortable but I stick to my calorie diet. Losing weight is never easy but I have noticed even though I was not heavy heavy that my SVT and my sleeping problems eased when I lost a few pounds. You can add me!0

hey poster.....I have a heart murmur and used to have high blood pressure. I was tipping the scale at 220lbs and was facing being put on medication to regulate my hbp. So I started working out and eating crazy healthy only looking at food as fuel is what worked for me. I drop 90 lbs in a year and now my doctors can hardly find my heart murmur and my high bp is gone. Unfortunately I have gained back 30lbs with working 50 hours a week but now I am getting used to fitting in health with my normal heavy load. One cheat meal a week. I have lost 10 lbs in 4 weeks. Its all about food choice and making time to get your work out in.0

 I don't know if it ever stays easy. The best that I can suggest is to learn the right tools that will make it easier. I never thought I would say this but seeing a psychologist to supervise my weightloss for a few months helped where nothing seemed to. It is different for everybody. Just don't give up on MFP. Feel free to friend me.0

When I weighed 277 I was getting ready to see a doctor for sleep Apnea however I lost 37 pounds and I did not need to see the doc anymore, sleeping a lot easier now. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.0
