Looking for supportive friends

I have struggled with my weight as long as I can remember. I had finally gotten to a good point and began to feel healthy about three years ago, but ever since then, the weight has crept back on. I have yo-yo'd back and forth ever since. Since I got married 5 months ago, I have packed on the pounds, to the point that I have been asked if I am pregnant. I have bipolar disorder, and food has been a source of comfort in the past. I have a great weakness for sweets.
This is my third week of using my fitness pal and fitbit together. I would love to have some friends to help me with encouragement and I would love to encourage them in return.
I am 5' 5" and as of today I am 196, and I would love to reach 140 pounds.
My goal is to become healthy before becoming a mom, because I want to teach them healthy habits and lead by example.

Well kel8412 maybe we can be supportive of each other - I am 67, 5'6" and 230 and I need to drop 80 pounds and be around 160 so we can be supportive of each other because I need it- I have been on all of the diets - the best diet that worked for me was the ideal protein diet and I lost 42 pounds and then I stopped because I could not keep buying all of the food and consequently I gained 30 of that 42 pounds back (boo!) - so I have got to make up my mind this is it.....this is enough and I have to do this and keep it off and ket nothing bother me - and ....the big thing is to start exercising - small bits at a time....are you with me??? Let's do this......Are you on board? Yes....0
