Breakfast to go

My typical brekafast is oatmeal with a little PB or some eggs and toast.

My schedule is changing and I'm going to have to switch to morning workouts on some mornings. I'll need to go right to work from the gym so I'll need to pack breakfast since I won't have time to stop back at home.

What are some decent portable breakfasts?

I make mini "quiches" for an easy breakfast. Mostly I fill a muffin tray with vegetables and then crack an egg for each muffin/pie space and add a little milk or water. You could use some cream if you wanted, and add things like herbs, garlic, cheese, meat - etc according to taste.

Homemade smoothies. I use banana, nuts, and Greek yogurt to keep protein higher and sugars lower. I have a good smoothie machine, though, to grind up the nuts really well.

as long as you have access to a microwave..an english muffin, a hard-boiled egg, and a slice of cheese. Slice the egg, top with the cheese, and you have instant egg muffin. Could add breakfast meat of your choice if you'd like

Prob less healthy but my friend just sent me the cutest picture of this where you wrap a strip of bacon around the inside of the muffin tin...if you're looking for fun adds....

You will want to keep them chilled while at the gym, but these are AMAZING.

I do quiches too. Or I put Greek yogurt, oats and frozen fruit in a small bowl that has a lid at night. In the morning the oats are soft and the fruit thaws and sweetens the yogurt. It's a great grab ans go. Sometimes when I'm feeling wild I even add some protein powder.
