Chocolate Mousse using Avocados - Amazing

Just saw this recipe by Giada DeLaurentiis. Made it yesterday and was blown away by how good it is.
1/2 c. semi sweet morsels
4 very ripe avocados
1/2 c. agave nectar
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1 T. vanilla
1/4 t. salt
vanilla almond milk for thinning, if needed
Melt the morsels in microwave and add to a food processor. Add the remaining ingredients and process til very smooth.
Enjoy!

My first reaction was a negative one, but on second thought, I think avocado and chocolate could be good combination. Hubby claims to hate avocados, I might have to slip this one in on him. lol0

That's what I thought when I first heard of this recipe. All I could think about was guacamole covered in chocolate It's funny, I invited my neighbor over to try it and guess the secret ingredient, and she couldn't. Neither could anyone in my family. Topped with fresh berries would make it that much better. Let me know if you try it and what you think.0

I do that sometimes but use cacao instead, will try with chocolate next time :happy: I also put bananas once in a while.0

It is calorie dense but what a wonderful mix of antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Bumples for sure!0
