I am already 325 calories over my limit for the day and still very hungry and wanting to eat. I am tempted to go down the street and get Dairy Queen or something ---- I feel so unsatisfied today. Unfortunately I am not at home today so I cannot go into my kitchen and pick healthy snacks....it's basically what is near me I can choose from.

What should I do.....

  • Do some squats, quick!!!! Can you get some skim milk? It will fill you up and be good for you at the same time. Fight the urge. Make a list of 5 people you admire, and why. Then add yourself to the list! You can do this.

Stay away from Dairy Queen lol Drink some water. Exercise where you are to burn some calories. Go to bed? I had one of those days last week. I went to bed so early because all I wanted to do was eat. I really think that you are doing so well and you know what you are doing. And if you do end up going way over just remember tomorrow is a new day. Jump back on the wagon. This is a lifestyle change not a diet.

go to the dairy queen and get a chicken sandwich and just eat the meat (unbattered of course). Is there a local market? Cottage cheese, peanut butter. Dont know what time it is where you are. Did you work out? If so, those extra calories will probably be doing you some good. Have ya cheated at all recently? Maybe its time you allow yourself to indulge in something that is "fun" to eat. A gas station around? Beef jerkey is always good.

I'm late to this... but here's what I'd do... eat fruits/veggies... anything with a crunch... apples, celery, carrots and drink lots of water. Eat your regularly planned dinner. Don't do DQ, don't feel like... "Well I've blown it - I might as well REALLY blow it...". If you can get some exercise tonight.

I've found that sometimes if I didn't eat all my calories one day - the next day I could eat the HOUSE. There is usually a reason I feel that way... go ahead and eat - but give your body good stuff.

Have you been working out a lot lately? I go through the same thing from time to time. Celery and hummus fills me up. An apple with natural peanut butter or half a banana with peanut butter. Cottage cheese is good too. I know that is soooo hard.....hang in there.....you can do it!!!! Just think, this is where you are getting the payoff....you are probably losing some body fat right now.

if your really hungry try protein; chicken, beef or pork, junk food is not filling and when only make you want to eat what ever. Chew some gum, and drink lots of water, 3 glasses in a row. Remember "why do I want to lose weight" "my goals are??? keep your hands busy by writing down your thoughts, you can do this!!!!

Make sure you're counting your exercise calories! My favorite quick snack: carrots or cottage cheese. Make 'em good calories if you eat 'em!

You guys rock! You're such a supportive group. I will remember these tips when I have another day like that one - they tend to happen occasionally!
