Going to Vegas

Hi all! I have been using MFP since March 1 of this year and am very happy that I have lost 11 lbs! My husband and I are going to Las Vegas next week. I am not a buffet person (just to tend to not like food that sits out all the time) but I am actively thinking about ways I don't UNDO my progress.

Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! ----Deanna

    Of course enjoy yourself while your there and treat yourself some, but plan for those treats, pick them out in in advance. For example, make the decision ahead of time to only have one margarita that night, and no chips and salsa. Also, for the non-special meals (like breakfast, maybe lunch, the ones not at restaurants you're going to for the experience) stick with the basics to allow room for enjoying the places you care most about (like salads and fruits, easy to log or keep track of in your head). Thankfully you'll be doing a TON of walking, so that'll help! And just stay on top of your water, you'll be fine!!! Remember you'll feel better (and proud of yourself!) about havnig fun and making healthy choices too, rather than "living it up" overindulging (heck, and no alcohol or food hangover the next morning!!!) Enjoy!!!!
