Everyone looks great!! But had anyone had problems with the loose skin?
I will now be working on giving my skin time to catch up (after 30 years being stretched it won't go overnight), and hopefully this year it will all start to disappear, I realise it won't go completely but I will cross that bridge when I get to it.0 -
I'm 5'4" and I've lost between 55-60 pounds since May of 2011. Last year I only lost about 20 of those pounds, which is what the last photo comparison shows. It's an awkward pose but I tried to mimic it as closely as I could - even put on the old workout shoes that I don't wear anymore, hehe.
I attend a boot camp three days a week and occasionally add in a day or two of running, but I haven't been as good with the additional workouts lately. Boot camp is zero compromises though and I really try not to miss unless I absolutely have to. I'm a vegetarian and until I joined MFP last year I didn't do any calorie counting. I just ate fewer processed carbs/sugars and the weight started coming off. Eventually I plateaued out for a couple of months and my boyfriend convinced me to give this a try. That helped push me to break through the plateau and lose another chunk of weight. I have about 20 more pounds to go before I'm in the healthy weight range for my height.

I am 5'4 my success pic is in my profile I started 196 I am now 140 but during the holidays i got stuck at 142 for awhile I hit a plateau. Anyways. I have loose skin most likely from being overweight since I was a teenager. Than i got pregnant with my daughter had a csection so yes I have mommy scars but that's OK!0

I keep hearing from people that part of the weight gain is age. You have just shown me that at 46 I can still get back into shape. Thank you for the post. I have only started and a long journey ahead but I am so happy I found this website and all of you inspirational women.0

I am 5' 3'' and since the beginning of June of 2012 I have lost over 100 lbs! I weighed in at my heaviest then at 234 lbs. Now my last weigh in was 124.4! Since I am 5' 3'' my goal weight to get to is 115 lbs. So I only have a little under 10 lbs to go! I have just watched my portion sizes and made sure that I cut down a lot of the sweet foods that I ate a lot of before I decided it was time to make a change in my life. I feel more confident than ever before. I feel a lot more comfortable in my clothes and going out in public. You just keep at it and you will see results. You don't have to starve yourself to lose weight. Just stick to your goals and you will get there. I know that there are good days and bad days as far as being able to stick to being healthy and not overeating when I feel stressed. But getting back up and realizing that you are not back where you started in the beginning helped me a lot when I would have the bad days. It helped me not to give up and pick myself up the next day and do the best I could to stick with it. Reminding myself that just because I have bad days it doesn't mean that I haven't made any progress and being healthy physically was my main focus. Not just losing weight or some diet plan that never worked for me in the first place. And now where I am I do feel a lot healthier and a lot happier. I have more energy and when I put the right foods in me I have way more energy than filling my "gas tank" with the wrong type of gas and not being able to "run as well". You are a success right now where you are! You can do it and it is worth it! Keep up the good work :flowerforyou:0
