What is your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)? Question, my BMR is set for the standard 1200 daily calories. Should I increase that to what my calculated BMR rate says it should be?

Well I guess no one wants to read my post or answer my question, so if I could figure out how to delete the topic I would.0

I just found this post: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 in another threead and it has a lot of good info about where your calories should be! Although, I would definitely suggest talking to your doctor to make sure you aren't doing any damage. I've been at 1200 for quite some time and haven't seen any difference, but am headed to the doctor next week to talk it over (and because I have to do a wellness screening for the school district I work for).
Hope that helps!0 -
I would increase it. MFP is very standard and we all know all people aren't the same.
If you do a search in this forum, you'll probably find hundreds of topics on this that may answer your question better than I can.0
