I started passively trying to lose weight a few years ago by quitting drinking soda. That was a good first step. Then, a few months ago, I started using "Lose it". That worked for me until a co-worker told me about My Fitness Pal. I made the switch and have really liked it. Now I'm thinking that having friends on here would be helpful. So here I am, asking for anyone who'd like to provide and receive encouragement, workout ideas, menu(recipe) ideas, etc., to join me for the journey.

Hello! My name is Autumn. I'm 23 years old. I live in Georgia. Today is day 4 of eating healthy and exercising! I started at my highest weight of 298 lbs. Today, I am happy to report that i have lost 30.8 lb so far bringing my weight to 267.2!! I still want to lose 127.2 but I know that i can do it! I created a blog yesterday to document my journey! Every Friday I will be posting weight, measurements and pictures! oh and ADD ME!

Hey Autumn. Way to go with the 30lbs+ lost! I believe you can do it. In the past three years, I've lost just over a hundred pounds. I know I'm headed in the right direction and am thankful for MFP as a new way to motivate myself, track my progress, and make friends who will motivate, inspire and support me. Good luck to us all !0
