Losing weight with a stomach conditions?

Im hayley a mother of three and i have ulcerative colitus- ive only just started sticking to a restrictive diet and although i can lose weight ifind it hard to stay nutritionally healthy as the diet is so strictQ so far its the only thing that seem to keep the pain away! anyone else in a similar situation?

    I'm not in the situation, but I would definitely do more research into it. What are you having the most difficulty with?

    I have it, diagnosed 9 years ago. I am gluten, corn, dairy and soy free. Can't eat many nuts or citrus either. I lost weight when I finally figured out all of my intolerances (I'm here because I quit smoking). Let me know if you need any help!

    I have UC, also. I try to eat low residue foods as much as possible.
    My diary should be open if you want to see what I eat.

    I am in the hospital just diagnosed with severe ulcertive colitus. I am looking for soft food diet options and would appreciate any help. I have always been very careful with my diet and I just dont understand how I could have become so sick. I had diareah and vomiting for eleven days before going to hospital and I have been in here seven days now. Still on a Full Liquid Diet. The goal is release on a Soft Food Diet, if I can handle it.
