Acurate TDEE?

Anyone have an accurate equation or online calculator? Seems like i can get different numbers on different sites?

    None are accurate because they're just taking numbers you feed them and doing some simple math. Without being medically tested it's all just a best guess scenario.

    I really like this one. The explanation of TDEE is really helpful; and their formula is slightly different than a lot of sites - and it explains why. A good read at the very least!

    I like this one. Most of them I've used come within 20 calories or so....it really just depends on your inputs and then playing with the numbers a bit. I follow the road map as well...20% of TDEE; even though I workout 5 days a week and could put myself at lightly active and not worry about logging exercise, I still do sedentary and log the exercise and eat those back. Mostly I do this because I will have times when I miss because of work or whatever and I don't want to forget to eat less on those days.

    The best way to calculate your TDEE is from experiment. Eat at what you think is maintenance ie. you're not gaining or losing, and voila, that's your TDEE. If you gain, cut back a bit. If you're losing, eat a bit more. Once that is sussed, you know your TDEE if you don't change your activity level.
