Muscle soreness

I worked out really hard today and now my legs are really sore. I tried walking a bit to walk the pain out but that didn't help. Anyone have a good remedy for muscle soreness?

    Lots and lots of water will help. Or a hot shower/bath.
  • You're gonna have to gut it out mostly, but...

    Some things that can help are:

    1. Foam roller or gentle massage
    2. Hot bath with Epsom Salts
    3. Stretching (it hurts but it helps too)
    4. Keep moving as much as possible. If you sit still, it will get worse...when you first wake up, expect some misery :'(
    5. DON'T GIVE UP! It will get much better!!

    I find massage works best for me when my muscles are sore.

    I took 3 tylenol this morning. I'm still sore, but it's tolerable now.

    Nice dose of magnesium, foam rolling, water, light exercise (walking, stretching, gentle yoga, etc.).

    Stretching helps! Maybe warm bath. Hope you get some relief!
