First day in the gym in a long time...while on the treadmill I realized this..I couldn't workout before because I was either sick or in pain (arthritis), I was sick and in pain because I am extremely over weight, and I am extremely over weight because I couldn't workout... that simple...things will never be the same now...here we go!!!

I was sick and in pain and slightly over weight. And now the weight is gone. I've also seen a friend go from a wheel chair to jumping around (weight and arthritis problems). Believe in yourself. There is a way to get you there..

Weight loss is 100% diet. I'm not saying that exercise isn't important but it's all about what you eat.

Baby steps...baby steps....In September 2011 i was over 250 lbs (I am a 5' 11" man). I didn't use the treadmill because it hurt my knees. So I used the elliptical....I doubt I could last 10 minutes...Today I use it for an hour. i got used to the elliptical and prefer to use it instead of the treadmill, because it burns hella more calories. But even the elliptical is kind of boring, so weather and life permitting I prefer to bike ride.

If I could do things over again....when I was at my heaviest...besides trying to fix my diet i would have begun by just trying to walk, longer and longer and longer each day.

Good luck, and stay focused on your goals.
