I've been extremely sore since I did an HIIT workout yesterday morning. Probably not the best idea since
I havent been working out at all for the past year.
Do you guys have any suggestions on how to help make the sorness better or go away completely?
thanks in advance.

If I am really sore I will take magnesium at night. Of course hydrate as well.

Ibuprofen and keep yourself hydrated. It won't go away immediately. Sounds like you overdid it a bit. Take your time, build up slowly, you'll get there! Some soreness is good, but extreme soreness...not so much. Good luck!

Do something active--but very easy. Take a walk, do some stretching, just get moving a little bit to work out the soreness. Drink plenty of water, stretch a lot and give it a another day.
  • thanks guys, yeah I think ima take it slow till the soreness eases up and stay hydrated.
