"If you don't do what's best for your body, you're the one who comes up on the short end."

    --Julius Erving

    also:

"Losing weight is hard. Being fat is hard. Choose your hard".
  • "You are not HUNGRY, you're BORED! Drink some water and learn the difference!"

"Exercise to be FIT not SKINNY. Eat to nourish your body... And always IGNORE the haters, doubters and unhealthy examples that were once feeding you! YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN YOU REALISE!"

    =D

I'm going to print some of these out and put them around the house so I stay motivated throughout the day =)

I like Dolvett Quince's "Hardwork, Dedication! Dedication, Hardwork!" mantra. Simple, but true.

Strong is what happens when you run out of weak.

There is no one giant step that does it, it's a lot of little steps.

I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday.

You don't have to eat less, just eat right.

Wow - I really regret that workout - said no one, ever.

My body is my ultimate food diary.

I have a whole board on Pinterest of fitness motivation quotes that I look at before going to the gym!

When I'm running and starting to tire, I just keep repeating in my head "What would Jillian say right now?"

Life in general- Forward is the best way to go.

    Put the fork down, fatty.

Only joking, although sometimes it helps.

Someone once said to me that the thing that stops people succeeding is putting what you want now before what you want most. This really stuck with me as it applies to so much! It has helped me with quitting smoking and losing weight.

    I got this!
Pain is weakness leaving the body (for those tough workouts)
Nothing tastes as good as being fit feels
It doesn't matter how fast I go just as long as I go
