Hi everyone,
I am semi-new to MFP, and have a question. I know you get extra calories to eat when you do cardio, but do you also get extra calories for strength training?
Thanks,
Sharon

Yes, go to the "Exercise" tab, under "Cardio" click add an exercise and type in "Strength Training" in the search box.0

i;m new here to i do'nt think you do .:happy:0 -
When I try to enter any type of strength training such as bicep curls or ab crunches into Cardio it automatically puts it in the strength training session. So I guess that means no extra calories for strength training.0

Hi Sharon,
Although it can be listed seperately under exercise...no calories are credited to you for strength training under exercise. At least that is the only way mine has been set up since January.

Yes, go to the "Exercise" tab, under "Cardio" click add an exercise and type in "Strength Training" in the search box.
If you do it this way, you do get calorie credit.0
