Fitbit question....MFP aside

Say I wasn't even tracking on MFP. Going by the FitBit, if it says I burn 2,000 calories in a day, is that the minimum I should be eating or would I need to build a deficit into that in order to lose .5, 1, 2 lbs per week? I get that it calculates that automatic thru MFP but just trying to understand the numbers. That total would be the equivalent of the TEE correct?

I believe if you are burning 2000 calories then you need to eat at a deficit to lose weight.

So if you want to lose a lb a week you should eat 500 less calories than the total burn of your day. You need to create a deficit of 3500 to have 1lb of weight loss

If you want to lose 1/2 a lb a week you should eat 250 less calories than the burn for the day on average

If you want to lose 2 lbs a week you should eat 1000 less than your burn.

These numbers are assuming that you don't add additional exercise. I am talking net average deficit should be 250 500 or 1000 to lose .5 or 1 or 2 lbs a week.
