Was not sure where to post this topic.. but this seemed the best fit. Any advice suggestions for dealing with perimenopausal symptoms of fatigue, extreme irritability... I exercise daily. I get probably 7-8 hours of sleep per night. I eat pretty healthfully. Any natural supplements that you would suggest. I am tired of being tired. I know my iron levels, CBC levels are okay. I am not hypothyroid. Also experiencing the "belly gain" too that comes with this age... so frustrating!

I am going through menopause myself. I am just 25 but have been dealing with a lot of that since my surgery at 23. I recently started making a drink with water, natural pure honey and cinnamon powder in it and it has been helping a lot with th energy a issue. Honey and cinnamon together are great for a lot of things. What I do is in the morning 30 min before food and on an empty stomach I drink it. Boil one cup of water with 1 Tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. I also drink the same thing right before bed. So far it has been a nice boost to my energy. Also kiwi is know to have some good boosting benefits because of the potassium in it
you are welcome to add me on here and I can send you more information on different foods to try.

Peri-menopause is very frustrating! I have been going through it since 2009, and it is finally settling down now at age 50. I have starting drinking carrot/celery juice, and it seems to give me more energy. I can feel when I need some. I don't do juice fasts though, just drink juice as my snack. I don't do juice daily either. Maybe every other day right now.0
