Hi all!
I re-started my MFP journey about two weeks ago after deciding to eat healthy and get fit again! I'm trying to lose ten pounds by my birthday in March, and lose another 5-10 for the summer! I've never felt comfortable in swimwear, and now that I'm turning 25 I want to get back on track for good.
I've been logging faithfully, and I'm really feeling motivated and excited this time around.
I've decided to cut bread out of my life and it's been wonderful so far. I used to be the kind of gal who could survive on peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, mac n' cheese and bagels. It hasn't served me well over the years... so I decided to say bye-bye to grains! I'm already eating way more fruits, veggies and protein - and I'm starting to feel pretty great.
Anyway - feel free to add me! I'd love the support, and I'm more than happy to return it.

Hi Janna,
I am also giving up grains as part of my plan. I'm shooting for 40 lbs. to get back to my college weight and to prepare for a big hike on the AT. I actually like the logging since it appeals to my analytical side, but I've only been doing it for 3 days. I feel very empowered to know exactly what my net calorie consumption is each day.
I've done a stint with raw food for 3 months so I learned a lot about whole uncooked food and how to incorporate into your diet. I get a lot of my calories through nutrient rich smoothies with greens, fruits and whole food powders.
Maybe we can all keep each other on track.0
