I am getting so frusterated with myself! Why is it when I am doing so good and starting to feel good again I lose my mojo.
On Sat I was back down to 200.8 so almost out of the 200s and now I have no energy or motivation to workout!
Does this happen to anyone else?

Jenn.. It happens to me all the time. It's a struggle all the time to stay motivated. Don't loose faith. You can do it! Once I force myself to get started it becomes a little easier. Maybe that will work for you. Force yourself to do SOMETHING. Go for a walk! Hope this helps a little. :flowerforyou:0

I am the same way... I got outta the "obese" weight a month or so ago and have not loss a whole lot of weight since mainly due to not working out. I also find myself eating worse or justifying eating more. Dunno why I do it but you are not alone.0

It has been really happening a lot to me lately. I recently got into the 140's with a goal of 140, maybe even 135. Ever since the scale got under 150, I have been struggling to accomplish my goal weight. I get a lot of compliments and clothes fit great, but I still want to finish losing the weight. So, I hear where you're coming from. Just keep up the good work and think of the end result!! You have done GREAT so far!:flowerforyou:0

Review your food diary for the last couple of days. Are there things in there that maybe weren't a good choice for your? Some possibilities--too many carbs--tends to make me feel less energetic the next day or so after eating them. A high sodium day will affect me the next day also.
Is your TOM about to show up? That can sap your energy.
Even if you can't identify WHY, YOU can still control the situation. Sometimes you just have to "Just do it." I WAS the poster child for "middle-aged female couch potato" until I joined MFP a year ago and started walking every day. During the winter I switched to my Gazelle, as I don't like walking in the cold and rain. Many is the day I didn't "feel" like doing anything, but did it anyway, and always felt better afterward.
Good luck!!0 -

YES! I was down to 207 then seemed to go back up to 212, even though i thought I was doing so good, and that depressed me so I almost quit...again. But you are almost there so keep up the good work! Just think of the end result! You can do it! I have faith in you!!!!0

I know the numbers on the scale staring up at you can be frustrating when they aren't moving. Check your bodyfat. You can get inexpensive Accu-Measure calipers or a electronic bodyfat analyzer. Bodyfat measurements really help when you are at a plateau or jumping up and down on the scale.....for days.....and days.....and days.....! (Believe me-I know! I lost only 4 pounds one month. The bodfat went down 4.5% though!) So the numbers don't give a complete picture of your diet success/failure. Start tracking it and you will ,most likely be pleased. The fit of your clothes is another indicator.0

I am right there with ya. I am so close to my first BIG goal. just 12 lbs to go and i will be out of hte 200s, but all of a sudden I am finding it a BIG challenge to get out there and exersize. i am having force myself when i never used to.
I am thinking about this as a relationship, because that is what it is. Our relationship with food and exersize. I have been married for over 10 years, and I know there are some days that I am so in love and I don't want to be away from him for even a second. And then there are days (God love him) that I just can't stand to be around him. lol. It doesn't mean that I don't love him less, it just means that I am in a funk, and i know that it all cycles through, and if I push throught he bad days the goods will follow soon.
It is EXACTLY the same with exersize and eating right. Some days you don't even have to think about it, you do it because it's all you want to do. The other days you just have to push throguh. You just have to.
I don't know if that helps, but know we are all here with you, feeling the exact same thing.
Don't give up!0 -

Couch to 5k is what got me started with my running and weight loss. I can't say enough about it. I LOVE it. I really was able to run 5k by the end of it. I also did the 10k version as well and loved it just as much.
Since I started the C25K I have ran 2 5k's and a 4.2 mile race. I feel unstoppable. You will too. Trust me0 -
OliveOil: That is AMAZING! WTG! Ya I want to try and do a half marathon in Oct. But first I guess I should finish Couch to 5k LOL0
