Chocolate tea

So I've been looking into chocolate teas to curb my chocolate addiction, and I've found that yogi tea, good earth, and bigelow all have some type. Anyone ever tried these and have some comment, or can anyone recommend some other brand I haven't listed?

Numi Organic Chocolate Pu-Erh is really good and is actual cocoa in it, not flavoring.

Has Pu-erh tea, cocoa powder, vanilla beans, rooibos, cinnamon, orange peel and nutmeg.

You should try David's Tea - Chocolate Orange Pu-erh. I don't even really like chocolate-based teas but I am obsessed with it. It tastes like a Terry's chocolate orange was converted into a tea.

What is pu-erh tea? Does it have caffeine? I get jittery easy (I only drink decaf green tea, and caffeine-free chamomile mix herbal teas at night). Is David's tea and Numi's tea available in supermarkets, or only available online?

How funny, I am currently drinking a Yogi Coco tea! I like it, there is no actual tea in it though. KUSMI also makes a yummy chocolate tea, a spicy chocolate one, and a chocolate mint one :)

    Check out www.teavana.com

I LOOOOVE My Morning Mate - but yes, it has caffiene.

I think there should be some other caffiene free chocolate/sweet options!

I have never heard of chocolate tea before, but I can vouch for the Bigelow brand. They make my favorite tea, which is orange & spice. Aside from a chai tea, that's the only hot tea I like!
  • I get one from kungaloosh.com. It's called mint chocolate chip. They have all sorts of delicious favors of tea. Everything you can imagine!

I haven't tried those, but World Market has its own brand of chocolate mate that's very yummy.

I don't know if you have a Teavana (previously called Teaopia) where you are, but they definitely have a vast selection of teas and their Devil's Chocolate one is to die for.

I've tried a few ones. There was a chocolate hazelnut kind (forget the brand) that was my favorite. I usually like my tea plain but I like just a little milk or creamer in chocolate tea. It's not necessary but it's nice. It's good in the afternoon. The combination of black tea and cocoa nibs gives it too much caffeine to have at night.

Thanks for all the brands! Some I've never heard of before. Unfortunately, I don't think there's any Teavana in Hawaii (or at least I've never heard of it). I think the only specialty tea shop here is Lupicia.

Steeping tea in hot milk sounds like a great idea!
