I have more comic books than I know what to do with and spend way too much spare time thinking about a certain mad man in a box... I'm a total nerd.

Define each. Every one has their own definitions it seems.

I consider myself a geek, what with my Star Wars tattoos, unhealthy obsession with Firefly, and love of all books fantasy related.

I'm with you on this. There aren't very many of us on here from what I can tell, but I have ran in to a few.

Maybe I'm wrong, but those sound like traits of a nerd. I usually think of nerds as liking science fiction and geeks liking non-fiction, especially math and science.

Well seeing as how Firefly is one of the best shows ever.... I think this just shows you having good common sense.

I am kind of both... but I am happy about it. It's a part of who I am.

See I was always the opposite. To me, nerd is more....with the physical intelligence whereas a geek is like...a more socially adept nerd.

You could very well be right. I will get started on researching this, I'll let you know when I'm done with my thesis.
