energy needed

I need some way to get a pick me up with out coffee or soda. im very tired and i eat clean so i dont know what to do. If anyone has some ideas i can get from stuff i can do at my desk to at home to help pick me up energy wise. that would be great thank you ^_^

    It might help to give advice if your diary was open. Saying you eat clean means different things to different people and doesn't necessarily mean that you eat a right balance of foods or that you're eating enough.

    I find just getting up and moving a little can help boost my energy a bit. I was really tired this morning and went to get water with a friend and I felt a little more perked up after that. Take 3-4 breaks during your work day and walk around the floor or even up and down stairs.

    Are you exercising regularly? Drinking enough water?

  • I drink lots of water 6-10 glasses a day i work a desk job and get pentalized if i get up too much so outside of running to the bathroom every hour and my 30 min break for lunch where i walk around the building i dont get much anything else as for work outs im working getting better about working out when i get home. im stuck indoors til the weather gets warmer. is -5 today so very cold.

    is b-complex a vitamen i can pick up?? i dont want to just assume anything

    I've been drinking 3 liters of water a day, I work a desk job, and its done wonders!
    I also cut back on coffee, and I will drink green tea instead.
    Are you getting enough sleep? I've been getting up at 5am...so as soon as I put the kids to bed 8pm...I head to bed too...

    Yep, Walmart or generic at grocery store

    Try isometric exercises while sitting

    I think this is more of an issue for me. not enough hours in the day sort of thing. up at 5:30 am not home til 6 ish and normally dont go to bed til 10 or 11
