Plateau help

I've been watching what I eat and exercising since last April. I hit a plateau last June and got great advice on here. I had been eating 1200 calories a day and exercising on top of that. With everyone's advice I increased calories to around 1800-1900 per day and got past my 7 week plateau. I hit another plateau in October and dropped my calories to 1300-1400 a day and cut my exercising back. This got me through to the middle of December. I then hit another plateau so I increased my calories to 1600-1700 a day and increased my exercises again. However I've been doing this now since mid December and seem to be stuck at 165-168 pounds, fluctuating daily. I am 5' 4, and 35 year old woman. Was wondering what anyone suggested, since the advice REALLY worked last time! I'm not worried about the food I eat because I've been doing fine with my nutrition as I've been on this journey since last April. I started at 227 so I've lost 62 pounds to date. I'm just trying to figure out how to get through the plateau. I'm doing cardio and strength training on alternating days, maybe my body is used to this routine? Or maybe I need to increase or decrease calories? I'm at a loss on what to do to push through on this one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm no professional but from what I gather you are exercising a lot. Maybe up your calories to 1800 for a few days then down to 1500 again. This is my take on it. Thoughts?0

I wondered if I was still too low on calories...But feared increasing too much.0

Sounds like it could be due to strength training. Muscle is more dense than fat so it weighs more than fat does.maybe try alternating with more cardio and yoga with your exercise routine. Keep with what you have been doing don't give up you will get past this. Good luck to you.0

I've never done yoga before, is it difficult to learn?0
