Hi everyone, my name is Freda and I'm new to message-boarding and have been with MFP for about 3 weeks. I'm really liking my new lifestyle change. I happened to have come across this website while looking for apps for my ipod. I like the fact that i'm not starving myself. After my 1st week, I lost 2lbs and I noticed a change in my energy level. I have been trying for years to lose weight and have tried numorous Fad diets and weight-loss plans and in all of them, I felt like I was starving myself. I'm a nurse and thought that I would lose weight just from running around at work. We take care of others, but nurses are not healthy eaters and I found myself eating alot of eat-outs and fast-foods. With this "lifestyle" change, I've found that I am able to eat, as long as I stay within my calorie count range. I'm looking forward to watching the pounds slowly shed from my body and my life.
