Heart rate monitor

I have been using Proform Tx-100 Heart rate monitor from Wal Mart for the last 2 years and for a cheap HRM it was great. It finally died on me today:/ I was wondering if I should buy the same one or anyone had any suggestions for something better but not so expensive. I have always liked the look of the Polar FT4 but I have heard mixed reviews. Any suggestions or help would be great.. Thanks in advance:)

    So I ended up getting the Polar FT4. With my cheaper HRM I pulled high calorie burns with this one (which you have to wear the chest strap with) I don't pull as high. Now I feel like I have been lied to ..lol.
