Helloooo!

I'm a 25 year old mother to a four year old little girl. I am 5'4 and currently weigh 168lbs. My goal is to get down to 140lbs. I have hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) so this weight feels so stubborn to come off. I would like to get to meet some people who are in a similar situation to me. Hopefully 2013 is the year for me :)

  • Hi! I have a hypo active thyroid too. I am looking to pose 5 lbs but I know it gets soooooo hard with a slow thyroid!

Before I was diagnosed with this condition I was able to lose weight easily with a simple change to my diet by not eating junk food. Now I have to work hard to lose weight :grumble:

I never really realized how many calories I was actually consuming until I started tracking what went into my mouth. It never seemed like I was eating a lot but I snack throughout the day.
