First Official Day Of Summer = A New Start

Now that my sophomore year of college is over, along with Hell Week (which consisted of two cumulative exams that forced me to be in the library, living off of things like pretzels and protein bars... not healthy), I'm finally back home and I've decided that this summer, I'm going to do it. This year has been full of changes (friendships, relationships, changing my major, etc.). When I go back in the fall, I'll have a lot of positive things waiting for me... A job as a resident assistant in the dorms, I'll be on the cycling team, an active member in my sorority, and finally studying for a major I want to do - exercise science. I want to go back feeling refreshed and confident so that I can hit the ground running when I get back. I WILL do this.

I've decided that from now, until when I go back up to school in August (14 weeks from now), I'd like to lose one pound per week, bringing me from 151.5 to 137.

As of this morning, these are my current measurements:

Age = 20
Height = 5 ft. 5 in.
Weight = 151.5 lbs
Bust = 36 in.
Waist = 29 in.
Hips = 37.5 in.
Thigh = R: 24 in. / L: 23.5 in.
Calves = R: 15.25 in. / L: 15.25 in.
Biceps = R: 11 in. / L: 10.75 in.

If anyone has any tips, or anything, feel free to post!

*Also, I want your opinions... How often do you think I should weigh myself and/or take my measurements? Every day? Once a week? Let me know what's worked for you in keeping you motivated!

Thanks guys!
...And I'm always looking for friends on here so that we can support each other. So feel free to add me if you'd like! :]

    Taking measurements regularly is a new thing to me so I'm planning on checking every three or four weeks, depending on how much weight I've lost. I check my weight every Friday morning.

    I don't even know you, and I'm proud of you because you know exactly what you want and are taking positive steps to get there. Way to go!!! I wish my head was screwed on that straight when I was 20.

    I weigh myself every morning (it helps me stay accountable), but my official weigh in day in Friday and that's the day I report a loss or gain. And I take measurements once a month.

    Good luck! Just keep on thinking positively, and you'll get there!

    I weigh once a week and I take my measurements once a month. Not too often, but often enough to see results and not get discouraged :)

    I do the same as allislefttogain...I take my progress pics (front, side, back) and measurements on the 1st of every month and weight myself once a week.

    You shouldn't do it everyday because your weight flucturates on a daily basis. =)

    Do cardio and weight training as well.
