How to log a takeaway

Hi Guys,
Can anybody help me with how I would log a pizza on to my diary?
Me and my partner have decided that if I healthy eat, exercise all month and lost at minimum my monthly target, we we will have a treat of a takeaway on the last Saturday of the month.
However in preperation for that day (a really long walk is planned for the Sunday) I am struggling to work out how to log it. It wont be from a "branded" pizza place like dominos or pizza hut. But a small independant shop.
Please dont reply with "you shouldnt be eating it, you are on a diet blah blah blah". Its not a regular thing and everything on moderation.
It will be a 7" pizza, probably ham, pineapple and onion.

I'd just log it as a generic pizza from either pizza hut or wherever. But I'm no expert.0

Either pick a similar size and topping pizza from the database as an estimate. Or just quick add 1000 calories and write in the notes what it was.0

If it was a big franchise (pizza hit, dominos), you can look up the calories from the "add food" and search. If it wasn't why not use one of the franchise pizzas to have a rough estimate. I had to do this for eating at a teriyaki restaurant.0

Hmm in situations like this I tend to use what's in the database but slightly over estimate to be on the safe side. Pizza hut or dominoes - as fast food stores - likely are higher in cals compared to their thin crust, 'real' food equivalents anyway - so I would just use a value for a 7" dominoes with vaguely similar toppings (sounds like what we call Hawaiian over here in the UK!) and the same crust (deep/thin etc - obviously go for the thin!). It will be a high number for a whole small pizza like that (maybe 900-1100cals) but fit it into your day (or even the day after) and don't worry about it.
Regarding 'treats' - I totally agree with you. Obviously avoiding junk is best, but we all have to do this in a sustainable way. If that means enjoying occasional (or even regular) treats if you can fit them in and still lose weight, it's fine. As far as I am concerned this is a new lifestyle for me and has to be sustainable. If I had ever said to myself 'no chocolate' or 'no cheese' or 'no charcuterie', I wouldn't have lasted a month!0
