I had 2 kids who are 11 months apart. I had my first 2011, and then my 2nd 2012. My body had no chance to recover after my first pregnancy so when i got pregnant with my 2nd i may not have gained as much, but my skin seemed to stretch out twice as much. it looks like i have an inch of saggy extra skin just below my belly button, and I want to help get rid of it, or for the most part make it look better. any ideas is greatly appreciated! :D

Wow, it's like were twins. I also have two boys, also 11 months apart. First in 2011 and second 2012. I guess were on the same boat.. I'm starting to ease into my exercise. I enrolled at the gym last week and started doing the elliptical. I am starting the 7-week post pregnancy fitness program of about.com . I guess we just have to start somewhere. I gained a lot of weight during my last pregnancy. Here is the link : http://exercise.about.com/library/blweekone.htm

It's just the schedule for Week 1 but you could just search their website for the details.

Hello! i have a 2 year old and a 9 month old.I bought a "10 minute solution Blast off Belly fat" DVD but I couldn't physically do the exercises. It's not really designed for us! I've since bought a "Rowing action exerciser" (cost about £8 and is like a big elastic band to go round your feet with a handle to hold.) It came with a list of exercises which I have been able to do. I'm slowly seeing results.

  • yeah i have one of those in my basement somewhere, i found it kinda worked, but i didn't feel like it was doing what it needed to. It toned my arms a bit and that was about it haha

My Dr. advised me that, due to two c-sections and pregnancies so close together, I actually have a gap between my abdominal muscles and absolutley no amount of crunching would change it. I found this workout that is suppose to help "heal the gap". If you decide it's a good idea for you, I would love somebody else to hold me accountable to actually doing it!!!
    Good luck!

  • I had three c sections in 4 years. I gained about 65 lbs with each baby. I just started a cardio barre type workout class and it has been amazing for my entire body, including my stomach. I have been doing the class 4x/week for 4 months. My entire body shape has toned up. Try one if you can (my baby is now 18 months old.)
