What made you decide to lose weight?

I found out I was borderline diabetic at 255 lbs.. Since joining this website I've went down to 249, and I can't wait to hit my goal.
Been lifting weights, running, doing insanity, jogging, walking.
My main decision points were
.Wanting a body ready for the beach/lake when summer hits.
.Wanting to live healthier, stronger, and happier.
.To lower my risk of diabetes.
So, basically what I'm asking is what made you stop procrastinating. What flipped a switch in your head that made you get off your *kitten* to lose weight?

My kids are my driving force. That and reaching 40 this year (help!) I want to be around to enjoy grand-children too.0
