Ok so here a question does sucking in your stomach or other muscles in your body when your sitting at your desk or in the car really help to tighten those muscels over time, and does it burn any calories or just help you tone. Help me out here please cause i think it helps but I am not sure

I guess that technically anything "extra" that you do is going to burn some calories, but I think it would be pretty negligible. Otherwise, bodybuilders wouldn't go to the gym, they'd just sit around and flex.0

Stomach vacuums can strengthen the transversus abdominis (the muscles that are behind the visible part of your abs).0

"Sucking it in" does help tone the muscle, but you should alternate between holding it in and pushing it out. This will help to keep the muscle on its proverbial toes.... by not knowing what to expect, the muscle doesn't adapt to what you are doing. Some call it muscle confusion, I can't think of a better term than that. In addition, it helps with posture. It should be something you can do without thinking about it.0

After an entire day of holding my core tight it feels like I have done 100 crunches.0

Sorry but just no. No. Figure out your calorie needs, eat at a deficit, do real exercises at home or at a gym, and be patient. That really works. Take it seriously and work hard and you will have plenty of support on here.0

yes, it helps. do them while sitting at your desk for a little something extra during the day.
should you count the "calorie burn" that it is giving you? no.0 -
I don't think it could hurt, but I wouldn't use that time to try an add activity calories. Now that you said that though, I'm holding my core tight and sitting up straighter. Thanks for the reminder!0

combine it with a walk at lunchtime (still holding in) and it will have an effect. Just sitting at the desk - I always forget to keep it up:blushing:0

I am going to try it out for a few days and see how it goes I really need to work on the area in between my stomach and my knees those and my trouble areas I need to work on my hips and my thighs and my stomach a little bit but mostly the bottom part of my stomach not the top. I know it all takes time but i am so impatient LOL but I am sure we all are at times0
