I need help!

Dear experts out there, I need help! Ok, so I've been reading lots of forums and even went to Fat2Fit and what I've tried doesn't seem to be working for me.
The major consensus seems to be that Fat2Fit is the best resource. According to this site, being 227, 5'3", 49%BF, being lightly active, to maintain, I need to eat 2492. So that is my TDEE right? I do the -20% = 1993.6. For the past week, my calories have been between 1500 - 1900 calories. Now I know it hasn't been at the 1993, but being that I am obese, wouldn't it be ok to be at -30%?
Last week I was at 223, on Monday 225, today 227. I am getting so frustrated, because I don't know if Fat2Fit is right. Yes, I've had some cheat days here and there, but for the past 45 days I have been eating more healthy than ever.
Help.

at 225 lbs, a 2 lb difference can be caused by a 0.89% error. That is pretty small. If you are being honest to yourself about your activity level and eating, then just stick with it.
You can decrease your measurement error by weighing more often and trending them.0 -
Are you weighing or measuring your food? Youd be surprised at how much you actually eat when you measure things out. Ceareal is a great example I pour what I sused to think was a serving a normal bowl for me and it was almost twice what the package said was a serving. So if you are not measring you should start. Speaking of measuring are you taking measurements? Sometimes those change beforethe scale does.
Finally good job finding out your TDEE and subtracting 20% but your BMR is 1734...you should really tru not to NET much less than that most of the time. Sure a day here or there won't do much damage but if you are eating below this for long periods of time your metabolism might suffer. It seems like a lot of food and it is...try to pack in the protein when you have claories left at the end of the day.0 -
Give it time... when you add calories you add carbs which means more water weight and you need to allow your body to adjust to the new levels. Without seeing your diary its hard to tell... but most people are carb heavy so we generally recommend adding protein and fats and decreasing carbs.0

I have been measuring out my food, except for my meat/chicken. I ordered a food scale, so once it gets here I'll be measuring everything.
I also have been taking measurements every 10 days (currently doing 30 Day Shred so after every level I measure) so far its only been 3 inches total body. Thank you for the BMR info.0 -

Thanks, I weigh in every week on the same day, as soon as I wake up.0 -

Thank you for the encouragement. I'll have to make my diary visible.0 -
If you're doing 30 Day Shred and you didn;t really work out before you're probably pretty sore after a good workout right?
This mean your muscles are working hard an they have to repair after every workout. How do they do this....they need lots of protein and they actaully reatin more water as they try to repair....and you know what that water takes up space AND it weighs more than you think. You'll be retaining even more if your sodium ( ie salt) in take is high so watch that.
Keep up the good work try to eat more protein than you normally do and drink LOTS of water eventually your muscles will get up to the level where you're not sore every day and they will let go of some of that water....that's a great feeling trust me.0 -
