Stupid question about water???

Ok I made some decaffienated green tea using splenda. Does that count towards my water consumption for the day? I don't know whty this is confusing me lol

    From what I have heard, yes that counts as water. Even caffeinated drinks, if you consume them on a regular basis, are considered water consumption.
  • I count tea, coffee, water with crystal light all towards my water intake!

    I think it counts...the only thing you need to be careful about is if it is caffeinated...as it acts as a dierutic and can actually aid in dehydration :)

    I count it all! The only thing I would not is alcohol which may or may not have a negative water effect quite apart from the calories! :-)

    i get confused about water too!!

    My naturopath says for every cup of caffienated drink I should drink an additional cup of water ontop of my daily water consumption and not count teh caffienated drink because it is a diuretic....

    yet ive heard many opposite opinions....so i get confused by this too!!
