Running the stairs

Hi, I don't usually post here but thought I'd share.
I did bootcamp this morning which ran over by 5 mins but I didn't stay to finish those 5 mins due to having to rush home to get myself and daughter ready for work/nursery.
Anyway, I've felt a bit guilty about not finishing my session so decided to do a mini workout on the stairs at home. I thought I'd just run up and down the stairs for 10 minutes. I felt the burn at 3 minutes but pushed through (LOL) and found that I quickly got over it and once I got half way it was great! Had my heart rate monitor on to see what the calorie burn would be...
Me running for 10 mins up and down the stairs = 107 cals
OMG, that's equal to a 2 finger KitKat!! Flippin' Nora! I wonder how long I'd have to run up and down those stairs to earn a Chinese takeaway! ;0P
I think I will be adding more stair running to to my daily routine!

Thanks. 10 mins doesn't seem like much but it will really make a difference! Plan to do it again tomorrow0
