Young dad looking for some support and motivation

Hey everyone. So I've been struggling to lose weight for about a year now. I most recently gained a pretty good amount of weight when my girlfriend was pregnant last year, about 20lbs.I currently weigh 230lbs and I would like to cut alot of fat out and also build more muscle I started my weight loss journey back in March of 2012 with my girlfriend and about a month or so later I gave up and she continued on without me. She has now lost an incredible amount of weight and I want to do the same as well. I have a 1 year old son at home and taking care of him and going to work for 10 to 12 hours a day really takes alot out of me. I started hitting up the gym about a week ago and I've been going everyday and eating healthier as well. I'm looking for friends on here that can share tips with me on how to become much healthier and also provide each other with motivation and support. Thank you!

    I'd love to be friends and help support one another. I know how tiring working such long hours and taking care of a little one must be, but just set little goals for yourself. Reaching your small goals will help keep you motivated and want to continue doing what your doing. Eating healthy has been a much more difficult task for me than exercising....but any improvement is better than no improvement. Good luck to you :)
