Just looking for a few ideas and a little curious as to how you blitz it in the gym.
Today's routine, chest/back, 4 movements on back, 3 on chest, 5 sets each, 12-20 rep range:
T-Bar Rows
Pivot Rows
Close Grip Lat Pulldown
Cable Pulldown
Flat Bench
Cable Flys (Standing)
Pec Deck supersetted w/push ups.
What say you gym junkies?

Squats. Deadlifts. Overhead Press.
Following Stronglifts 5X5.
Would have added in a small jog afterwards, but was running late for a meeting. Weight lifting is more important to me than the cardio.0 -

I have this in my left knee. Slowwwwwly getting better, guh, I feel your pain literally.0 -
I'm sorry, it's the worst. I ran my first half marathon this fall and now I'm basically done running until I can have my physical therapy this summer. It's so annoying, especially while trying to lose weight.0

I am pretty sure I am still in the boat of I have nooo idea what I am doing but I used the elliptical for 47 or so minutes with the cool down and then used 7.5 pound weights and did some of the lifting techniques that I remembered from a previous exercise class I took when I was at a big university.
Since I have been working out consistently on my own for a bit over a month and a half now I think it might be time to get an appointment with a personal trainer to get some help with learning how to use the more silly looking machines.0 -

a normal 10 mile run for me is 80 mins....that was a planned slow run...esp @ that incline0 -
leg day:
leg extension - 2 sets of 20 with left leg,2 sets of 20 with right leg, 2 sets of 20 with both legs
Sumo squats with barbell 3 sets of 10
Regular squats - 3 sets of 15
leg press -3 sets of 15
then did some ab workouts
and then TM for 30 min: ran 5minutes, speed walked 12 minutes on 15.0 incline, walked 3 minutes at 5.0 incline, ran inclined on 5.0 for 3minutes, then walked on 0 incline for 2 min, and jogged for the last 5 minutes0 -

Great idea.
Try cutting down you cardio activity a bit such as the ET to a bit shorter and use interval training. Two minutes fast, two minutes slow.
Work some weights in there and you'll be good to go for a while!0 -

Various things .. but to be honest the thing i do most at the gym is get bored out of my skull !!!
I am 1 month into a three month program, as I made a commitment that once I reached 18 stone I would join the gym to assist my weight loss program.
I can walk my dogs for up to 2 hours a day and that really helps but in winter it's not so easy as the ground has been so wet lately.
Thank the lord for my ipod, without that I'm not sure if I could cope with the monotony of the gym
30 minutes recumbent cycle
4 sets of exercises on leg press, chest press etc. two sets of 12 on each.
45 minutes on treadmill.. nothing to hectic incline 2, speed 5.3
5 minutes of steps..up & down...up & down....up & down......up & down...........................................................god...0 -

Keep experimenting and looking for things that you might enjoy doing. Ask some of the trainers for a little advice and see if they might have any ideas, even try and sort yourself out with a training partner.
Big agree on the mp3 player, they are indispensable when it comes to motivation.
Don't give up mate, keep cranking it out, make it a habit and soon you'll be gliding.0
