Anyone got any good work outs/advice ect for lower abs.

I am doing an all over body workout, but it appears my lower abs are not paying attention LOL.

    A few:
    Reverse crunches
    Leg raises (lots of variations)
    Bicycles
    V Up
    Mountain Climbers
There is a pretty decent app called the ab randomizer (or close) where you can build a pretty decent ab routine with some video instruction. You went to vary things as much as possible so this is handy.

The app is "Daily Ab Workout." I have it on my tablet, but for folks that would be installing it on their phones, check the permissions as some of them seem a invasive.

Planks are good; to make sure you're engaging your lower abs, get in standard plank position, bend your knees a little, tuck your butt and pull in your navel, then straighten your legs while maintaining the tuck. Your lower abs will pay attention, believe me.

I know what you mean, but there is no such thing as lower rectus abdominus muscles - the rectus abdominus is one muscle.

I think supine crunches or anything for the abs whilst laying on your back is pretty much a waste of time. Try standing and using a cable machine for all manner of abdominal exercises - cable wood chop, gravediggers.

Also, off set farmers walks and good quality weighted walking lunges.
